What is ECO-OSU?
ECO-OSU is a grass-roots environmental awareness organization on the Oklahoma State University campus. ECO-OSU is an action oriented club, participating in campus and community initiatives, hosting eco-activities, introducing ways to lesson our burden on the environment, and motivating people to make a difference in their world.
No matter your degree of study, everyone is welcome to join us!

Mission Statement:
We are dedicated to creating better environmental awareness and action towards the goal of sustainability locally, nationally, and internationally.
Our function is threefold:
- Activism. Sometimes voting is not enough. America was not founded by persons satisfied with allowing the powers that be to rule in their own self interests.
- Awareness & Education. Many people are concerned with the environment, but without knowledge of specific issues, effective action is not possible.
- Community. We are not alone. Persons concerned about the environment are not radical, just progressive. Through socialization we can support and encourage society to move in a more sustainable direction.
Affiliations:
We are affiliated with the Sierra Student Coalition, the student led arm of the Sierra Club.
Meetings:
We hold general group meetings every two weeks. All meetings are open to all interested persons. They are aways on Monday at 5:00 in Classroom Building 102.
