      • Potential Guest Speaker from Allied Waste to discuss the recycling program in Stillwater
      • SGA Real Cowboys Recycle final stats:

Washington State: 128 bags = 600 lbs. 

Troy: 115 bags = 538 lbs.

Tulsa: 131 bags = 613 lbs.

Texas A&M: 46 bags = 215 lbs.

Nebraska: 102 bags = 477 lbs.

Baylor: 35 bags = 164 lbs.

Oklahoma: 169 bags = 790 lbs.

Grand Total: 726 bags = 3,397 lbs.

  • Just for comparison: In 2008 we collected a total of 2,021 lbs. and in 2009 we collected 2,329 lbs.

  • We have been offered the opportunity to “own” the LEED and environmental aspect of the Student Union.
    • Director of the Student Union, Mitch Kilcrease, wants us to do “this” together (him and us)

      • They will need a marketing plan for the union
  • Doing well on this project could create great publicity for our organization and our goals across campus and allow us other opportunities.

Membership

Members are required, at minimum, to attend three (3) events per semester.
