The Sri Lankan Student Association was formed in the year 1996 to bring all Sri Lankans attending OSU and help organize social and cultural events to promote understanding between Sri Lankans and others in OSU.

     The Sri Lankan Student Association at Oklahoma State University is a non-profit, non-political, educational, and cultural organization that reaffirms our national objectives of Unity, Faith and Discipline. Sri Lankan Student Association at Oklahoma State University is established to foster friendship, goodwill, cooperation, and understanding among the Sri Lankan students and other International students at OSU; and to serve as a liaison body between the OSU administration and the members, to present ideas, interests, and concerns of our members before the OSU administration, in matters affecting the members' welfare.
